Video: Chemotherapy & Radiotherapy

Introduced by Sue Lawley and Anton Rodgers, and with a script written by a multidisciplinary team, including patients and their relatives, this video is designed to be shown to patients before treatment. It provides a concise but comprehensive description of each therapy, discusses the risks of side effects, and shows actual patients receiving treatment as well as what goes on behind the scenes. Research has shown that those patients who are shown the video prior to receiving treatment experience significantly lower levels of treatment-related anxiety and depression.
