The Milky Way Ski Challenge

The CancerBACUP Milky Way Ski Challenge to the largest ski area in Italy

Itinerary

Day One

Fly from UK to Turin and transfer to the hotel. Time to sort out ski hire, ski at leisure (flight dependant), welcome meeting and briefing with guides and check out the resort before dinner.

Day Two

Up early to meet the guides and start the challenge. Ski the first and largest of the MilkyWay regions, Sestriere and Sansicario, including the race course for the Winter Olympics 2006. We then head off to the second MilkyWay region of Sauze d’Oulx-Sportinia where we will be briefly stop for lunch. In the afternoon participants will conquer this area before returning to the hotel in the evening. Unwind and relax in preparation for the second half of the Challenge.

Day Three

Another early start, in order to complete the Challenge, ski the remaining 2 smaller regions of the MilkyWay – Montgenevre, and Claviere. This part of the Challenge takes participants over the French-Italian border and back again, all in one day! The evening is where the fun really starts! After 2 days of hard ski-ing, this is the time to really start to celebrate!  After relaxing aching limbs we celebrate our achievements at our Gala Dinner.

Day Four

Time to ski at leisure in this fantastic ski region, before transferring back to Turin airport for an evening flight back to UK.

Please, note that itinerary is subject to change due to snow and weather conditions.
