The CancerBACUP Benefactor’s Scheme

CancerBACUP is delighted that Elliott Bernerd, Chairman of Chelsfield plc – one of the largest property development companies in the UK, has taken on the chairmanship of the CancerBACUP Benefactor’s Scheme. After being diagnosed with cancer himself, Elliott realised the value of expert information and support. He found it reassuring, therefore, to know that the specialist nurses at CancerBACUP are a lifeline to all those who need them. Consequently, he wanted to show his commitment to CancerBACUP by agreeing to become Chairman of the CancerBACUP Benefactor’s Scheme.
The Benefactor’s Scheme has been set up to secure financial support to maintain existing services. It is vital that we secure continued financial commitment and with a strong emphasis on building a very special relationship with CancerBACUP, our Benefactors will be committing to a minimum 3 year fixed-term of financial support of £10,000 per annum which helps to support a CancerBACUP nurse. We are pleased to confirm that the scheme is proving a great success with a growing number of Benefactors already having pledged their support.

If you are interested in becoming a Benefactor and would like further information, please do contact Alana Tubasei on 020 7920 7213 or e-mail: [email protected]
