Follow up

After your treatment has finished you will be asked to attend the hospital for regular check-ups. To begin with these may be every three months or so and will include a physical examination, and occasional blood tests and chest x-rays. Over time the appointments will gradually become less frequent. If you are having any problems, or notice any new symptoms between these times, let your doctor know as soon as possible. Sometimes PET scans may be used to check whether treatment has completely got rid of the lymphoma.
