Follow up
Once your treatment is finished, you will have regular check-ups. These will continue for several years, but will become less frequent as time goes on. If you have any problems, or notice any new symptoms in between these times, let your doctor know as soon as possible. CancerBACUP has a section What now, which gives useful advice on how to keep healthy and adjust to life after cancer.
Blood tests
Regular samples of blood will be taken during and after your treatment to check your general health and detect any abnormal cells in the blood.
